About Curiquiz

A free, friendly trivia site built for two kinds of evenings: the quiet ones where you want to learn something new, and the loud ones where everyone's shouting answers across the table.

Why we built it

Most quiz sites push you to sign up, hand over your email, and grind through ads before you can answer a single question. We wanted the opposite: open the page, pick a category, play. No login, no popups, no friction.

What you'll find here

  • 7 categories — Geography, Cinema, Music, Science, History, Art, Sports — with three difficulty levels each.
  • Common Knowledge — a 300-question mix that pulls from everything.
  • Single mode — practise on your own, see your score climb.
  • Competitive mode — local two-player rounds with shared scoring.
  • Tournament mode — an 8-player knockout bracket with 10-second answer windows and a time-based tiebreak.

Solo or social

Use Curiquiz to fill five spare minutes, prep for pub night, or run a knockout for the whole family at a Sunday lunch. The questions are bite-sized; the rules stay out of the way.

How we keep it free

Curiquiz is supported by ads and by readers who choose to chip in via our support page. Both keep the site open to everyone, with no paywalls.

Yes. Curiquiz is completely free to play. There's no signup, no paywall, and no email required. The site is supported by light ads and optional tips on Ko-fi.
Do I need to create an account?
No account is needed. You can start playing instantly. For competitive and tournament modes you only pick a nickname and an emoji — nothing more.

There are seven categories — Geography, Cinema, Music, Science, History, Art, and Sports — plus a Common Knowledge mix of 300 questions across all topics.
